04/2012 - Monday, April 23rd, the Italian Minister of Education, University & Research, Francesco Profumo, has visited the Technological Innovation Park (POINT) in Dalmine that houses our offices, accompanied by the Management of POINT and by the President of Cimprogetti, Pierluigi Rizzi.
The visit is part of a wider program for the twentieth anniversary of the Faculty of Engineering, which has been signed by the inauguration of the new University Campus.

02/2012 - The 3-day international conference LimeCon 2012 has been held at Visakhapatnam (India). It has been the occasion for Cimprogetti, as Platinum sponsor of the venue, to introduce the main product qualities and technology practices used in the world. This 1st international conference focusing on Lime and Dolo calcination technology in India has brought the lime manufacturers and lime users of India to form the Indian Lime Association in line with similar associations already present in Europe, USA and China.

01/2012 - With no. 8 lime kilns model Cim-TD, Essar Steel (India) has completed the 10 MTPA capacity expansion at Hazira Complex. By doing so Essar Steel has achieved the following milestones:

• Hazira is now the world’s fourth largest single location flat steel complex;
• Capital investment made on a per ton basis is lower than global benchmarks;
• Raw material security and flexibility ensured through addition of new units;
• Hazira complex now offers the full range of flat steel products catering to all customer segments;
• Complemented by well-entrenched distribution network with last mile reach, as well as world-class sustainability practices;
• Expansion further bolsters Essar Steel’s track record of being a low cost producer;
• Steel complex a testament to India’s infrastructure growth story.

No.2 of the 8 Cim-TD lime kilns installed on Hazira site

01/2012 - Chememan Co. Ltd. of Bangkok (Thailand) has ordered in December a hydration plant featuring a Cim-Hydrax-4G 10 tph production and no.2 Cim-Microsep 200 HS.
 

01/2012 - KIMTAS KIREC SAN. VE. TIC.AS (Turkey) has ordered in November a Cim-Hydrax-4G hydrator with a Cim-Microsep separator.
 

01/2012 - Carmeuse SA has ordered a Cim-hydrax-4G hydrator together with a Cim-Microsep 200 HS separator for its Moha site (Belgium).
 

01/2012 - Mississippi Lime (from Missouri, USA) has ordered in November last year a new hydrator model Cim-Hydrax-4G of 30 tph.
 

01/2012 - Cimprogetti is supplying a lime kiln model Cim-TD 9 gas fired to Associated Industries Limited SFZ (Oman).The new plant is designed for a production of 440 tpd.
 

01/2012 - Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd. of New Delhi (India) ordered in July last year no.3 Twin shaft vertical kilns Cim-TD 7 of 250 tpd/each.
 

01/2012 - UNICHAMP MINERAL Sdn. Bhd. of Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) has signed an order in June 2011 for the supply of no.2 coal fired Cim-RT 4 kilns, 200 tpd production together with a Cim-Microsep classifier.
 

12/2011 - Idwala Industrial Holdings Ltd. has awarded an important order to Cimprogetti for the supply of no.2 Cim-TD11 kilns for Ouplaas Mine Plant in South Africa. The Cim-TD is a regenerative lime kiln able to reduce the power consumption, if compared to conventional rotary kilns, of about 40%. The kiln model uses more rational spaces with fewer problems from the mechanical point of view.
This "river" of 1100 tons of lime/day, 365 days/year will be used for treating ore from the South African mines, as well as from Zimbabwe, Botswana, Congo and other neighboring countries. So the "Lime Road for the Africa n mines starts from South Africa with Italian technology.

10/2011 - "New Energy" Award to Fornaci Zulian
The initiative, which sees the collaboration of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Padua, highlights the best practices promoted locally to energy efficiency and renewable energy, promoting sensitivity to the need for sustainable development that takes into account the essential needs of reducing emissions into the atmosphere and the development of the use of renewable energy sources.
Fornace Zulian has purchased in 2006 the new regenerative kiln Twin-D, 500 tons/day : the largest production unit of calcium oxide (lime) using 100% biomass.
The design choice of Cimprogetti not only allows you to pursue the important results in environmental matters, but makes the results inherently sustainable and attractive to ensure the client corresponding savings in running the plant.

04/2011 - Cimprogetti supplied to Carmeuse S.A. a new fuel dosing system for the existing Maerz kiln FM2 of Moha (B).
 

02/2011 - Chaux et Dolomies Française ordered a separation group for Neau site. This unit features the Microsep separator mod. HS 100, completed with a cyclone and a fan.

Valerio Colombari, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bergamo, joined the Engineering & Technology Unit of Cimprogetti in 2006.
In 5 years of activity in Cimprogetti, Valerio Colombari has demonstrated to belong to this people with the willingness and ability to enhance the proper technical and theoretical background in every opportunity.
He is perfectly at ease when working on his 3D workstation for the design of equipment prototype or as technical coordinator on sites, in Italy or anywhere in the world.
Reserved, but with strong interpersonal skills, intuitive and accurate in carrying out his tasks, Valerio Colombari benefits of the esteem of his colleagues and is an example of company asset for the integration of the design into the later implementation activity.
