Cimprogetti products are designed and manufactured to match each customer's requirement. In our R&D facilities, there is a continuous quest for new improvements to our technologies. All the data and information from existing sites is readily integrated in new designs.

Cimprogetti has adopted since the very early stages of its activity a comprehensive computerized engineering design (CAD) including also a 3D station. Research & Development Department, thanks to the high level engineering expertise available in the company, continuously prospects other markets in terms of technology improvement and diversification.

Chemical and physical testing of raw materials and the preparation of finished product sample batches are carried out in a state of the art “Innovation Technology Laboratory” before issuing final proposals to customers.

From our headquarters or directly on site, our people are fully engaged in the customer satisfaction concept, a challenging but imperative concept for the future of our company.
 

Link to the Uses of Lime...

Since the Roman time, we have descriptions and vestiges of lime kilns. The “Calcis Cottores” (Lime burners) guild, in force at Rome, had already studied the shape and the function of the lime kiln named “fornax calcaria”.
From that time, chemistry & technology of lime and limestone have progressively evolved although most of the progress has occurred since 1900, with the greatest step forward since 1955.

Besides burned lime (or quicklime), hydrated (or slaked) lime is the second major product of the lime industry. As many of the newer applications require top hydrate qualities, manufactured under strictly controlled conditions, Cimprogetti has developed a comprehensive range of equipment and plants to meet even the most demanding requirements in the market.

Lime is employed by a wide range of industries for a myriad of applications. Lime is the only material that can perform so many functions at so reasonable a cost.

USGS most recent analysis on the fluctuation of the lime market expects a long term growth in the FGD and related markets as a result of the Clean Air rule.
