Lime Reactivity Study (Code K_2014_EN_029) - Calcitic quicklime is generally produced burning pure limestone (a high calcium carbonate rock) at temperatures between 900 degree C and 1200 degree C. At higher temperatures it is possible to obtain a sintered material using specific kilns that are different from the Twin Shaft Regenerative (TSR) kiln.
